Carbon Offsetting

The BigChurchDayOut is working hard to protect the environment.

You can do a lot to help, including car sharing.  In fact, why not hire a coach so that you can all travel together?  More fun and a much lower carbon footprint! We provide a shuttle bus that runs between Shoreham By Sea railway station and the event. Find out about travel to BCDO here.

You can do even more to offset the carbon emissions caused by travelling to the event.  The BigChurchDayOut is working in partnership with ARocha, and every penny will go to Climate Stewards, a Christian organisation that works with local people in climate changed areas to plant trees every penny will go to Climate Stewards, a Christian organisation that works with local people in climate changed areas to plant trees.  We recommend a minimum voluntary “carbon offset” donation of 50p per person. Add a donation to your Shopping Cart when you Order Tickets.
