Giving
The BigChurchDayOut is a registered charity, and only generates about two thirds of its revenue from the event itself. Part of the BigChurchDayOut vision is to make the event as accessible to as many as possible, and that is why our ticket prices fall way below the real costs of staging the event.
The BigChurchDayOut relies on additional donations and support to cover the shortfall, and is grateful to anyone who is able to support the event in this way.
We consider the event to be a real mission field, and if you or your church would like to make a donation to support this mission, please contact info@bigchurchdayout.com, or alternatively, send a cheque made out to ‘BigChurchDayOut’ to PO Box 3340, Littlehampton, West Sussex, BN16 9FP.
You can also give a donation as part of your order when you are buying tickets.
Gift Aid
Make your gift to the BigChurchDayOut worth even more – at no extra cost to you.
If you are a UK tax payer, we can receive 25p for every £1 you are giving – or have given. That really can make a difference!
This is because the government’s Gift Aid scheme allows us to reclaim tax on donations. For your donation(s) to be eligible for Gift-Aid you must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax for each tax year (6 April one year to 5 April the next) that is at least equal to the tax that the BigChurchDayOut reclaims on your donations in the appropriate tax year.
If you make a donation online via your Ticket order you will automatically be asked whether or not you would like to Gift-Aid your donation.
