Lou Fellingham & PHATFISH
If you listen to contemporary Christian music, the chances are that you’ve already heard Lou Fellingham sing. Her first solo release ‘Treasure’ shot to the number one spot, becoming best-selling album of 2006 through Cross Rhythms. Her second release ‘Promised Land’ was awarded CBC Worship Album of 2008.
With Lou’s latest release, ‘Step Into The Light’, the bar has been raised again with this stunning new album showing Lou at the height of her talent and craft.
Lou also features on the groundbreaking Stoneleigh recordings (Kingsway Music) and on countless compilation albums with artists such as Matt Redman and Stuart Townend.
Since Stoneleigh, Lou has been regularly requested to lead at other major Christian events including Newday and Spring Harvest as well as women’s conferences up and down the UK – but her most widely viewed appearances are on the BBC’s Songs Of Praise.
Lou’s heart is to communicate the love of God through song. Her desire is to express truth, feed the church and bring revelation of God through her singing and songwriting. Her own compositions include ‘O God of Love’ and ‘I will say of the Lord’.
Whether fronting the band Phatfish or performing as a solo artist you can expect to hear ‘one of the most distinctive voices in Christian music’*.
